What’s New in Nike Shoes?

If you are planning to buy a new pair or Nike shoes or if you are asking what are the best nike shoes for standing all day, you are in the right place. This article will go through some of the best Nike shoes available in the market.

Air Zoom Tempo Next%

The Tempo Next percent replaces the Zoom Pegasus Turbo 2 from Nike and acts as the Alphafly Next percent’s training counterpart. For a speedy feel, it uses similar technology, such as bouncy ZoomX foam and Air Zoom units in the forefoot, but it is tuned instead of racing for the rigors of regular training runs. The Tempo uses a more supportive structural plate for better stability and support underfoot, in place of the rigid, snappy carbon-fiber plate used in the Alphafly. Other tweaks improve the Tempo’s longevity, such as a wedge of Respond foam in the heel and more rubber on the outsole, so you can rack up high mileage without breaking apart the foot.

Air Zoom Alphafly Next%

The Alphafly is the production version of what Eliud Kipchoge wore when he broke the two-hour marathon record in Vienna in 2019, the latest in Nike’s quest to create the fastest shoes on earth. Two Zoom Air units in the forefoot, still more ZoomX foam in the heel, a full-length carbon fiber plate that differs in thickness based on the size of the shoe, and a new ultra-light upper material called AtomKnit. With this shoe, Nike threw all but the kitchen sink.

ZoomX Vaporfly Next%

If you are looking for the best Nike shoes for road racing, ZoomX Vaporfly is the right one for you. The new Vaporfly 4 percent version, the next percent features more light and springy ZoomX foam in the forefoot, a lower drop (8 mm compared to the 11 mm of the 4 percent) and a thicker outsole of rubber with deeper water channeling grooves. Outcome? In wet conditions, better results at milder paces, more bounce thanks to the added foam, and increased traction.

Zoom Pegasus Turbo 2

A souped-up, speed-oriented variant of the Pegasus, the Peg Turbo retains the first generation’s winning combination of ZoomX and Respond foams. They deliver outstanding shock absorption and energy return together, so the shoe feels comfortable and quick. Sadly, there are problems with the current thin mesh top. Its minimum heel support means that for a safe fit, you have to cinch the laces down, but the tongue is not thick or long enough to prevent discomfort from causing the laces. However, if you can live with a looser suit, you could escape the discomfort.

Air Zoom Pegasus 37

Almost all on the newest edition of the beloved Pegasus above the outsole is new. React foam (which is smaller, more flexible, and more adaptable) has been substituted for the Cushlon foam used in previous models, and a new, extra-large Zoom Air forefoot unit provides even more toe-off energy return. In the female model, the Zoom Air unit is calibrated to a lower pressure, making it less rigid and slightly smoother, and both the men’s and women’s uppers now have an inner midfoot band for a safer fit.
